BMW 1 front side

Park Distance Control (PDC), available for front and rear or rear only, facilitates parking and manoeuvring in confined spaces, giving you an acoustic signal for the distance between your car and an obstacle. In conjunction with navigation system also with visual display on the fold-up screen.

Brake Force Display helps vehicles travelling behind you to evaluate your braking more accurately: in the event of an emergency stop, the illuminated area of the brake lights is increased. So traffic following behind can tell in an instant the difference between a light tap on the brake pedal and a hard stop – for increased driving safety.

BMW 1 Headlight system

Headlight washing system ensures optimum road illumination in all weather conditions. When the lights are on, the headlights are automatically cleaned in parallel with the windscreen.

Fog lamps integrated in the front apron ensure extra safety in poor visibility. Option includes exterior mirror heating and windscreen washer jets (standard on the 130i and 123d).

Lights package comprises entry area lighting, which upon unlocking the doors illuminates the area outside the doors for 20 seconds to enable safe vehicle access in the dark. Also included: reading lights front and rear, footwell illumination at the front, vanity mirror lights for driver and front passenger and ambient lighting.

BMW 1 Xenon headlights

Xenon headlights for low and high beam incl. LED taillights, daytime driving lights as well as four parking light rings and automatic headlight range control, for better road illumination at night or in bad weather.

Adaptive Headlights incl. turning lights for improved visibilit in bends: the electromechanically controlled headlights are directed into the bend as soon as the vehicle starts cornering.

1 Series equipment

M leather steering wheel: The thicker steering wheel rim offers excellent grip. The optional multifunction buttons enable you to operate the radio, CD drive and phone (optional) while driving. The appurtenant handbrake knob and bag are in Walknappa leather.

Sports seats: For excellent side support (shown here in optional Boston Black leather). The cloth/Sensatec combination Flashpoint is available exclusively for the M Sports package.

Glacier Silver Aluminium interior trim: Adds a sporty touch and underscores the individual character of the M sports package.

BMW M Sports package

M Sports package: Comprises a special aerodynamics package and matching BMW light-alloy wheels with mixed tyres.

This dynamic look is complemented by exterior parts in body colour, the optionl Black Sapphire exterior colour, shown here, the M sports suspension and Satin Chrome trim features as well as Chrome Line Exterior (for BMW 1 Series 3-door models).

The interior comes with sports seats featuring the exclusive cloth/Sensatec combination Flashpoint*, an M leather steering wheel, interior trim in Glacier Silver for a distinctly sporty look and feel. Exterior colour Le Mans Blue metallic is available exclusively for this model.
